Job Description
As part of Ubisoft’s Production HQ, you will be responsible for the financial oversight of a portfolio of international studios , grouped into geographic “zones”, regional clusters designed to foster operational synergies and shared strategic goals.
You will act as a key business partner to both local financial planning teams and central HQ functions (Workforce Planning, Tools, HR, etc.), helping to steer investment decisions, optimize performance, and support transformation initiatives . You will report to the Financial Planning Manager and regularly present your analyses and recommendations to both local and group-level leadership.
Responsibilities
Investment & Performance Monitoring
· Oversee and analyze investment plans/forecasts and actuals (staff plans, OPEX, CAPEX, and cash flow) for 2 of Ubisoft’s 5 international zones .
· Track key financial drivers, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
· Develop and maintain automated dashboards in Power BI to support local and central stakeholders in monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions.
· Act as the primary HQ contact for local financial controllers within your assigned zones.
Strategic Financial Advisory
· Participate in Business Plan Reviews to challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with Ubisoft’s strategic and financial objectives.
· Provide forward-looking insights to International Production leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and investment trade-offs.
· Contribute to the optimization of R&D investments , ensuring efficient resource allocation across studios.
Process & Standards Optimization
· Define and evolve financial tracking standards , including KPIs, deliverables, and master data structures.
· Improve tools and processes to enhance the transparency and consistency of R&D investment monitoring.
· Support the bonus allocation process (group, tech, and profitability-based incentives).
Partnership & Transformation
· Collaborate with other HQ Financial Planning Partners on cross-functional initiatives , including regional reorganizations and the rollout of new systems (e.g., ERP).
· Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects that support Ubisoft’s long-term transformation.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
· Lead the global reporting process for your zones: communicate budget frameworks, timelines, and expectations to ensure alignment with Ubisoft’s economic goals.
· Ensure consistency and quality in financial forecast submissions ahead of corporate financial milestones .
Qualifications
You are a finance professional with a strong analytical mindset , a collaborative spirit , and a strategic outlook . You thrive in international, fast-paced environments and enjoy turning complex data into actionable insights.
· Significant experience in financial planning, controlling, or audit, ideally in a multinational or matrixed organization.
· Recognized for your rigor, reliability, analytical skills , and ability to synthesize complex information.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to influence and adapt to diverse stakeholders.
· Proficiency in financial tools and systems : Excel, multidimensional databases, Hyperion/HFM, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
· Fluency in English is essential, you’ll use it daily in collaboration with international studios and HQ teams.
