The Ubisoft Data Office is looking for a Data Product Manager to address the “Brand & Portfolio Management” team surfacing stakes. This role will drive the evolution of one of the most used Data Products in Ubisoft aim at sharing game competitive intelligence, internal knowledge and decision-making tools to studios & HQ.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between data science, engineering, and business teams, ensuring that the platform delivers valuable, actionable insights and services for users across the company. You will drive the strategic roadmap, prioritize features, and collaborate closely with a team of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and gaming experts to continuously enhance the Data Product.
Because of this holistic and collaborative positioning, we are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal assets and a technical background. The Data Product interoperability and complementarity with other company assets may require that the Data Product Manager to intervene on additional Data Products and the company overall Surfacing strategy in collaboration with the Data Literacy & Surfacing team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
· Define and communicate a compelling vision for the data platform that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and user needs
· Drive the product roadmap, setting clear priorities and making informed decisions about new features, improvements, and technology efforts
· Collaborate with other product teams to ensure a coherent user journey across the Ubisoft data ecosystem
User-Centric Product Development
· Engage with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and refine product goals
· Develop user personas, use cases, and user journeys to guide platform enhancements and ensure that features add clear value
· Collaborate with UX designers to optimize the platform's usability, making data accessible for users of all levels
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Partner with Data Delivery and Web teams to break down requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring technical feasibility and aligning on timelines
· Work closely with development teams and data partners to ensure the smooth integration of data into the platform
· Communicate about the product internally to drive stakeholder and user engagement
Product Lifecycle Management:
· Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of platform features, from ideation and specification to launch and post-launch analysis
· Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and impact
· Continuously collect and analyze feedback to drive improvements
Data Governance:

Establish best practices for data quality, security, and governance, working closely with Ubisoft Data Office Governance and Domains teams
· Experience in product management with a focus on data-driven products and platforms
· Proven track record in managing complex data or analytics platforms – ideally in SaaS or Enterprise environment
· Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence
· Strong understanding of data technologies, proficient in SQL
· Strong grasp of product analytics and defining KPIs
· Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
· Familiarity with Web technologies (Back-end, Front-end, API…)
· Familiarity with UX principles and tools like Figma
· Great communication skills and ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders and teams
· Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
· Strong problem-solving skills and prioritization abilities, balancing user needs with business/sponsor objectives and technical constraints
· User-focused mindset with a dedication in building products that solve real problems and add tangible value
