Ubisoft’s award winning marketing department is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join their team.  If you aren’t familiar with Ubisoft, we are the company behind some of the gaming industry’s most popular brands including:  Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, Just Dance, FarCry, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.

 

The Associate Brand Manager will help develop marketing strategies and go to market campaigns for some of Ubisoft’s biggest brands.  The position will report to a Brand Manager. This position will be out of our San Francisco, CA office and will work closely a wide variety of global teams. This is a Hybrid role and will require two days a week on site in our SF offices. 

 

We are looking for a passionate marketer who has experience working on go-to- market and post-launch marketing plans, devising strategies, and executing tactics by collaborating with cross-functional teams.  The right candidate will have an interest in gaming and/or entertainment but being an expert in either is not a requirement.  At Ubisoft you’ll grow and develop as a member of a department that includes multiple Effie and Game Marketing award winners.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

 

·  Consistently manage and execute Marketing Plan tactics, ensuring project is flawlessly executed aligned with project goals. Gain buy-in on project planning and milestones from your manager.
·  Perform operational tasks for team-wide projects such as metadata readiness, video kits, website master copy, and more.
·  Demonstrate repeated ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects.
·  Manage and communicate timelines, deadlines, and workback schedules, accounting for relevant management milestones. Raise issues to management with sufficient timing.
·  Marshal resources, and work closely with and rally cross-functional teams to leverage their expertise and ensure programs are aligned with global strategy and KPIs.
·  Provide each relevant publishing team with the product information and marketing strategy needed to build plans.
·   Act as global “source of truth” and provide support across all regions to coordinate key local teams’ engagement.
·  Collaborate on creative project briefs, assist in agency management, gather and consolidate creative feedback, and ensure asset execution remains on brief with strategic goals.
·  Where applicable, lead agency management with supervision from manager.
·  Begin to build ROI-based mindset and approach, and gain familiarity with available data and analytics tools and resources.
·  Ensure all tactics have clear KPIs aligned with business goals and encourage cross-functional to build their own KPIs.
·  Support “always on” initiatives and performance monitoring.
·  Leverage engagement pillars to optimize key live metrics.
·  Be a team player, supporting Senior Brand Manager/Director (as needed).

 

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required

·  3+ years consumer product marketing experience
·  Marketing experience in the entertainment and/or video game industry a plus
·  Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects. Anticipates challenges, organizes resources, and does what it takes to get the job done
·  Can establish a clear vision, then rally partners and cross functional teams to strive to achieve it
·  Has a good understanding of the full marketing mix. Demonstrates an ability to learn new markets quickly, and can adjust to changes in market dynamics and competitive landscapes
·  Can come up with innovative ideas and/or elicit creative ideas from others
·  Collaboration skills that encourage great things to happen while adding to Ubisoft’s fun and vibrant culture.
·  Solid analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to use customer data and KPIs to back up intuition and assess marketing programs

The San Francisco base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $108,000. The base pay offered may vary based on a candidate’s geographic region, qualifications, skills and experience among other factors. Compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, stock options, or benefits.
