Job Description

We have a new opportunity for a Marketing Executive, who will report to the Marketing Manager within SME.  This role provides Marketing support for the whole of Total Gas & Power UK.

This is adynamic, fast-paced environment where organisational skills, communications skills and the ability to prioritise work on a regular basis are paramount.

The Marketing Assistant providesa broad range of marketing support to Total Gas & Power and effectively represent the company’s brand, vision, values, products and services to customers and prospects and brokers by timely and thoughtful execution of marketing activities that put the customer experience at the heart of marketing. To put the customer experience at the heart of all that you do.

The role includes, but is not limited to:
·  Provide copywriting and proofreading support for all Total Gas & Power communication needs including all promotional materials, collateral, website content, internal & external newsletters, advertising, editorials and other sales support material such as letters and DM pieces
·  Creation of new marketing materials
·  Draft clear, concise briefs with transparent CTA and coherent message for agencies
·  Event Management: research and recommend trade events for the company to attend and provide necessary marketing materials & logistical support
·  Hospitality: provide necessary marketing materials & logistical support
·  Create new communication touch points with customers and brokers to increase loyalty and decrease potential churn
·  Provide digital and online support for marketing activities and projects
·  Graphic design work – meeting challenging internal briefs that can bring to life Total Gas & Power’s aims whilst being brand compliant
·  Assist with all manner of offline and online marketing activities and projects across Total Gas & Power.
·  Creating engaging copy.
·  Offer graphic design skill and create interesting artwork and visuals
·  Ensure all output from marketing is brand compliant. 
·  To keep the marketing storage space, department and desk area tidy.  Adhere to the clear desk policy.

Candidate profile

Qualifications / Experience Required:
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
·  Resourcefulness in solving problems
·  Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
·  Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
·  Experience of using InDesign and Photoshop and agreat appreciation of aesthetic design
·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Marketing environment (including agency) and Marketing qualifications - a Marketing, Designer business-related degree and/or Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (or equivalent experience).
