Job Description

  The basic responsibility of this position is to coordinate and ensure efficient execution of the maintenance schedule.            

·  Reports to the Maintenance Manager and supervises two field coordinators. 
·  Meets daily with the Maintenance Coordinator to review schedule priorities, and communicate these priorities to the rest of the maintenance organization.
·  Coordinates the day-to-day activities including efficient execution of maintenance schedule and break-ins
·  Ensures priority is given to critical equipment (Safety, Environmental, Availability, Quality, Technical Integrity)
·  Reviews maintenance KPI’s and utilizes KPI’s, audits and other analyses to recommend and implement system improvements.
·  Monitors maintenance costs and execute work within the limits of the approved annual maintenance budget.
·  Reviews Maintenance daily logs.
·  Provides efficiency improvements opportunities to craftsmen performing in-plant maintenance work.
·  Ensures efficient use of procedures, materials, parts and equipment for daily maintenance activities.
·  Participates in root cause analysis of failures of plant machinery and equipment.
·  Helps identifying recurring mechanical problems in process equipment and works with maintenance and technical department engineers as appropriate to implement solutions using accepted engineering rules and practices.
·  Assists in the review of the spare parts stored in the warehouse, as necessary, to ensure that parts are available as required for breakdown maintenance.  Ensures warehouse parts availability for the site. 
·  Evaluates the quality of the work performed and provides feedback to contractors.
·  Attends monthly and quarterly scheduled meetings with nested contractors.
·  Administers all Company policies fairly and consistently.
·  Provides training/coaching as needed.
·  Makes at least one tour of the plant each work day (includes periodically attending designated Availability and Safety tours).
·  Maintains conduct in a business-like manner at all times.
·  Defines and supports the training and development of his reports.
·  Periodically audits PM and repair reports, procedures and other maintenance documents for Management System compliance.

Candidate profile

This position requires either a B. S. in Engineering plus a minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance or a High School education with 10+ years of maintenance experience and knowledge with supervisory responsibilities
