    Job Description    
 
Maintain, calibrate, and repair Refinery/Petrochemical type Instruments 
·  Maintain, calibrate, and repair Refinery/petrochemical non-hydrocarbon type Analyzers 
·  Perform failure analysis and make recommendations to correct failure cause(s) 
·  Research material and equipment required to perform job assignments 
·  Perform job documentation 
·  Perform preventive maintenance procedures 
·  Perform instrumentation modifications and overhauls 
·  Follow safe work practices 
·  Prepare reports, project documentation, modifications 
·  Work with vendors/contractors on repairs and maintenance of equipment 
·  Perform instrument pipefitting and tube bending work

    Candidate profile    
·  High School Diploma with minimum 5 years relevant instrumentation experience in the petrochemical field; OR two-year Instrumentation Degree with 2 years relevant instrumentation experience in the petrochemical field. 
·  Experienced in control valve and sight glass rebuilds 
·  Strong troubleshooting skills 
·  Stable work history 
·  Willing to work overtime, respond to off-hour call outs and shift work 
·  Cooperative and works well with others to achieve job scope 
·  Instrument pipefitting experience 
·  Must be computer literate 
·  Able to read and interpret P&ID’s, Isometrics, and Electrical drawings 
·  Climbing and lifting required 
·  Experience in the following: 
·  Honeywell TDC 2000, 3000 and Experion DCS equipment 
·  Honeywell transmitters 
·  ENRAF or similar tank gauging equipment 
·  Micro Motion meters, turbine meters 
·  Mass flow meters (Panametric, FCI, etc.) 
·  Oxygen Measurement:  Thermox, Rosemount and Servomex 
·  Combustible and Hydrogen Sulfide Detection Systems: Bacharach and M.S.A. 
·  P.H Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen and Streaming Current Analysis: Rosemount, Great Lakes, Kerrigan,/Dupree and Orion 
·  Nuclear level instrumentation 
·  Understanding of refinery processes 
·  Experience using Microsoft Office Products and SAP
