KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
The Workforce Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate data for stores, processing center and field loss prevention with scheduling and timekeeping applications. Working within the Store Operations team, this position will analyse scheduling and timekeeping data to identify opportunities and work back with the relevant stakeholders to support with education. The Workforce Planning Analyst will have a key role in analytics and metrics that provide insight to business leaders on where opportunities in scheduling and timekeeping exists.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary contact for stores, processing centre and field loss prevention partners for scheduling and timekeeping support.
- Represent the Workforce Management team at departmental meetings on a needs basis.
Scheduling and Rostering Support
- Help develop and maintain schedules to ensure adequate coverage, monitor adherence, and flag discrepancies.
- Post weekly schedules and oversee timecard approvals.
- Partner with Line Managers and HR on scheduling challenges, time and attendance issues, and system updates
- In conjunction with the Workforce Manager supports and creates tools for best practices, system updates, and new initiatives.
- Review and input change of contract information into the time and attendance system.
Compliance and Documentation
- Actively partner with Payroll and Human Resources to ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and procedures.
- Conduct fortnightly timecard audits, report on approval timeliness, and follow up with Managers
- Ensure planning activities comply with labour laws, enterprise agreements, and internal policies. Maintain documentation of planning processes and decisions.
- Conduct fortnightly compliance audits to confirm schedules align with contracts or approved variations.
- Gather and maintain workforce data such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment metrics. Assist in analysing trends to support workforce planning decisions.
- Support Workforce Manager in forecasting staffing needs based on historical data and business trends. Contribute to demand modelling and scenario planning.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on workforce metrics. Ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
- Update workforce planning tools and databases. Assist in the implementation and testing of new planning software or updates.
