We're looking for a Senior Finance IT Analyst to join our team! This role is pivotal in guiding the development and implementation of new operational and technical system applications, ensuring they align with TJXC Finance's business requirements. You'll lead Finance SMEs through system changes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and coordinate with global teams. What You’ll Do:
This position is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of new operational and technical system applications in accordance with TJX Canada’s Finance department business requirements. It leads subject matter experts (SME’s) through systems changes and maintenance including user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and coordinates with global teams.
Supports, coordinates, and prepares Finance resources for the execution of multiple small to medium complex IT projects, process change/alignment, and ongoing initiatives throughout the Finance department.
Accountable for all project phases (scoping, requirements gathering, coordinating, assigning, facilitating, guiding Finance SME’s) and ensuring project deliverables are achieved.
Supports Finance IT Projects Manager with large and complex IT projects by leading significant sections of projects as assigned. (e.g. UAT, documentation, training).
Ensures accurate requirement gathering is performed with IT and business teams by bridging the gap between business and technical requirements; producing and maintains clear documentation throughout all phases.
Leads subject matter experts in user acceptance testing by coordinating, assigning, and monitoring tasks; follows up with IT/Finance teams on defect resolution items.
Builds training plans and materials; delivers systems training as needed.
Vets information on project requests, socializes, and provides insight on requests with global partners in advance of prioritization events.
Participates in and establishes sustainable Finance processes for the continued use of existing systems, (e.g. creation of knowledge base and governance on foundational changes); builds and maintains inventory of test scenarios to be used for systems projects; builds and maintains up-to-date repository of processes, training materials and records with global perspective.
Applies Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology to assist Finance in optimizing processes.
Seeks, captured, and reports metrics on project progress and impacts.
About You:
A post-secondary education in Finance, Business Analysis; equivalent experience will be considered.
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in finance, project management and/or business analysis.
Project management certification (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma (i.e. Green Belt, Black Belt) are considered an asset.
Knowledge of and previous experience with structured project methodology (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs), understanding and applying principles of project control, preparing and maintaining detailed development plans; experience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and/or Agile methodology.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret information accurately, develop and build relationships with partners, team, and external vendors.
Strong computer skills including spreadsheets, diagraming, presentation, database and data manipulation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite applications; knowledge of accounting software, ERP, procurement/payment applications.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards, including ability to interpret and apply general ledgers, stock ledgers, assets and liabilities, debits and credits; awareness of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Good organizational skills such as time management, facilitation, implementation and management of details, prioritization, and multi-tasking with limited supervision.

The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
