Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior DC Operations Trainer to oversee the successful delivery of all operational training and onboarding programs within our DC Facility. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams, develop impactful learning content, and implement comprehensive training programs. You'll play a key role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our DC Operational Management teams, ensuring they are equipped to excel in their roles. What You’ll Do:

·       Collaborates and consults with DC Operations and Training teams to define training needs, identify resource opportunities, and develop plans to implement and achieve business requirements

·       Supports the design, development, and maintenance of learning content (onboarding programs

·       Drives the rollout of DC training programs across the DC facility, including technology, systems, onboarding, operational training, leadership development, loss prevention, and health & safety initiatives.

·       Monitors progress and evaluates training program implementations (skill transfer on the job, content, methods); collaborates with the Manager of DC Operations Training and L&D to identify training gaps, needs and opportunities to improve training effectiveness across DS network

·       Responsible for keeping up to date and current on DC processes, systems and technology updates, market trends, standard processes, legislation changes and labour relations practices

·       Responsible for tracking and reporting on training program metrics to inform recommendations program improvements

·       Supports cross-functional collaboration, ensuring smooth integration between DC operational training and global training initiatives

About You:

·       Minimum three (3) years of Distribution/Supply Chain, Operations experience; post-secondary education in Business, Education, Leadership, HR or Communications; labour relations experience considered an asset

·       Completed or working towards certificate in Adult Learning; experienced in adult learning and facilitation techniques

·       Excellent communication skills, facilitation/presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams with various needs and objectives, experienced in creating communication messages and plans and participating/leading meetings/presentations

·       Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, establish rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor, including strong consulting, listening, and information gathering skills.

Salary Range: $74,752.50-$104,653.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
