Reputation and Communications Officer - 12-18 month FTC
Reporting to Manager of Reputation and Communications
Job Summary
The Reputation and Communications Officer is a key role within the European Marketing & Corporate Responsibility function at TJX Europe.
This role is integral in helping to drive profitable sales and increasing market share by delivering a compelling European associate communications programme, successfully delivering content and events that are aligned to TJX Europe’s goals & priorities to inform, inspire, involve and engage current and potential associates, building belonging, trust, pride and advocacy in TJX Europe’s brands across its operating markets and locations.
Working in the Reputation & Communications Centre of Expertise, the European Reputation and Communications Officer is responsible for delivering associate communications copy, content and events.
The Reputation and Communications Officer has a strong internal network and builds effective partnerships across multiple functions, markets and agencies to gather stories & content and support the delivery of projects. In addition, the Reputation and Communications Officer partners across a company-wide communications community to develop and deliver the communications calendar.
The role is responsible for delivering day-to-day associate communications, ensuring content is delivered across channels in a timely fashion, and acts as the first point of contact for enquiries into Reputation and Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create channel-specific, relevant, engaging and meaningful copy and content to drive awareness, understanding, engagement and trust with current and potential associates.
- Support the Manager and Manager Of to plan and deliver associate events that support the associate communications strategy and plans
- Build strong relationships with internal partners and agencies to enable the smooth delivery of design, production, translation and activation of comms, content and events. This includes writing briefs, providing constructive feedback, and obtaining approvals
- Co-ordinate a rolling calendar of content to feed all internal communications channels. Support annual planning by partnering with internal stakeholders to collate the annual calendar of key associate events across Europe
- Co-ordinate the digital screens content and calendar, including uploading, creating and amending content and planning content for offices, PCs and stores
- Ensure associate communications channels, such as intranet and social channels, are kept up to date and promote their usage across the business
- Be proactive in maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of key stakeholders’ initiatives and activity, collating stories and content, including filming and interviewing associates, to provide content for channels and events
- Support the Manager Of to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our communications channels
- Check the ‘Reputation & Communications’ mailbox daily, fielding enquiries accordingly
- Validate and send all corporate email announcements/invitations via appropriate mailboxes
- Manage email distribution lists to ensure we are sending corporate emails in the most robust and accurate way
- Ensure all copy and content produced is organised into a reference library that means all content can be sourced and re-used in the future
- Play an active role within the Reputation & Communications team, flexing to support a variety of corporate or associate communications projects as needed
- Produce presentations, reports, guidelines and updates to inform and engage key stakeholders
- Promote a consistent brand look and feel and tone of voice across all associate communication channels
- Track budgets and raise POs associated with own projects.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
