Brand Marketing Specialist, TJ Maxx

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist who is a highly motivated self-starter to join our rapidly growing brands. As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in bringing the brands’ marketing strategies to life by supporting a variety of multi-channel initiatives. The Specialist will strongly support the growth of the TJ Maxx business through sharp and impactful marketing and sound critical thinking and report to a Brand Marketing Manager.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Support Marketing Manager in the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of TJ Maxx multi-channel brand marketing strategy and content to drive brand objectives
- Proactively collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to: Brand, Public Relations, Social Media, Creative, Media & Digital Marketing, Project Management, Email & Site, Merchandising, Planning, Store Operations, and Corporate Marketing; drive coordination across teams to further amplify integrated programs
- Ensure seamless execution of projects by implementing end-to-end content creation, including but not limited to: brief writing, conceptualization, design, and finalization of all creative content
- Support the Marketing Manager in reviews & QA of all creative content to ensure a consistent voice in alignment with TJ Maxx brand guidelines and messaging themes
- Provide analysis of data and share a POV to determine campaign effectiveness
- Support the management of marketing third party / agency resources as needed to develop marketing campaign concepts
- Support seasonal brand content shoots, using business input and collaborating across the team to assess needs; assist in merchandise procurement and pre-production process
- Coordinate and maintain the marketing budget associated with areas of responsibility, suggesting opportunities to control costs when applicable
- Research industry and customer trends to provide recommendations on future marketing campaigns and creative content
- Strong ability to build and foster relationships across the organization

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
- 1-2 years’ marketing experience; ad agency or client-side advertising experience is a plus
- Agile and results-driven with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, adhere to deadlines, and provide follow-up to ensure completeness and quality
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically, proactively problem-solve, and work in the grey, examining situations through logic to drive solutions and a path forward
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills; ability to build relationships, interact professionally and comfortably, and express ideas, direction, and feedback with clarity
- A team player who collaborates well and enjoys building relationships with partners across multiple disciplines with the ability to navigate different team dynamics
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Interest in the fashion industry and/or off-price/retail business is a plus
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.
