Meet Brayden
Brayden is a Distribution Centre Loss Prevention Coordinator in our DC Loss Prevention Department. He is responsible for supporting all LP awareness and shrink programs, completing audits and ensuring asset protection and life safety programs are maintained in partnership with DC Operations and DCLP Management.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our DC Loss Prevention Coordinator we’d ask you to do thefollowing:
· Assigns Security Officer and Loss Prevention Associates their daily areas of responsibility.
· Assists DCLP Management in building effective teams through the development and support of the Loss Prevention Associates (LPA).
· Liaises with DC and Home Office associates to promote LP Programs and ensure asset protection standards for the facilities are maintained.
· Liaises with Store, Supply Chain & Field LP Management to follow up on any shipping related issues.
· Supports Internal Investigations as required by the DCLP Internal Investigator or LP Management.
· Coordinates Emergency Response Procedures and support fire safety rules and regulations.
· Communicates issues and concerns that require immediate resolution to LP/DC Management.
· Completes operational audits and reviews LPA completed audits for the purpose of identifying loss and operational compliance.
· Conducts training within LP department, including new hires.
· Facilitates LP orientations for General Warehouse Associates (GWA) hires.
· Reviews Shrink Committee goals and updates on a monthly basis with the Loss Prevention Associates.

· Law and Security Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 2 years of Distribution Centre LP experience or equivalent
· A provincial security license is required to be employed in this position. As required by law, the applicant must be currently licensed under the applicable provincial statute and regulation prior to commencement of employment. Maintaining that license is also a requirement of employment as long as it is legally required.
· General knowledge of LP equipment and function (CCTV, radios, fire alarm panel, etc).
· Investigation and Interviewing skills, including identifying alert signals and obtaining evidence while investigating cases of crime or neglect.
· Conflict resolution skills.
· Organizational, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to develop effective partnerships with DC Operations and DC Support teams.
· Project support skills including ensuring correct materials, and accuracy of calculations; conducting and summarizing internal and external surveys; maintaining records (working papers, cases, reports, policies & procedures, etc.; organizing allocation resources to ensure efficient coordination of investigations; initiating action and allocating resources in emergencies.
· Communication skills including discussing issues with others for the purposes of clarification or explanation; written (sweep audits, memos, documents, letters, reports, etc.); verbal (Distribution Centre, Home Office, external); oral presentations (i.e. Shrink meetings, internal conferences); answering critical questions about dishonest activities.
· Analytical skills including listening to arguments or evidence; noting unusual occurrences, documenting alert signals; watching an employee or event to detect a problem; watching to see if a dangerous situation occurs; analyzing mechanized reports for unusual occurrences.
· Coordination of tasks including ensuring the appropriate individuals are notified of tasks and timelines; collecting the information in a timely manner and coordination of information.
· Computer Skills including word processing and knowledge of spreadsheet creation.
· Be flexible to schedule changes due to business needs.
· Satisfactory results of a detailed background check that may include the following: credit check history, criminal history and motor vehicle driving history.
· Licensed under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act.
· Must be a person of integrity and possess the highest ethical standards. Must be able to maintain privileged information strictly confidential.
· In some provinces, a provincial security license is required to be employed in this position.
