Job description

Graphic Design and Content Creator intern needed within a growing beauty tech start-up for a minimum of 2 months. The internship is remote, unpaid and would begin immediately. If you are a recent graduate, in the early stages of your career, or a student with an interest in creating short videos, graphical content and media and are looking for a part-time internship to gain experience and have fun then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

A little about us

We are a London based company who have created an interactive discovery platform to assist curly haired women in finding hair professionals in their area. Our web-based tool enable customers to search, book and review hair stylists in their area who can better handle their hair and has been featured in a number of well known outlets such as BBC Radio, and Channel 5 Live to name a couple.

What we’re looking for?

We are looking for a reliable, creative individual with attention to detail to work as our Graphic Designer and Content Creator for a minimum of 2 months. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a young, innovative and passionate team and get exposure to various parts of the beauty tech sector whilst growing your CV with a first hand work experience.

We are looking for someone who is confident that their graphic design and audio-visual content creation skills will be able to take our online presence to the next level. We are looking for a candidate who is able to take direction well and also bring fresh ideas and concepts to the table whilst working closely with the co-founders to strengthen the brand message and raise digital engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

- Create engaging social-first video content.
- Be an excellent video animator who is able to take a vision and execute it in a creative way.
- Work on brand logos and design work including visuals, graphics and GIFs.
- Be happy to get involved in the graphic promotion of wider marketing projects.
- Gathering and creating interesting, original digital content on a day-to-day basis
- Producing graphics and images for social media to drive engagement.

Desired profile

A bit about you:

- You excel in graphic design and video content creation
- You have experience editing video
- Highly experienced working with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign or similar programmes
- You can navigate Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with your eyes closed
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Contagiously energetic with an insatiable desire to improve yourself
- You take great pride in what you deliver, and always strive to improve the last project you completed
- You will have an eye for graphic and social trends and be a social media whizz,
- You are able to adapt content for different social channels and follow social trends accordingly
