WHAT DO WE DO ON THE TEAM?  

Our Cloud Sales Specialists are Subject Matter Experts in Telefónica’s Cloud Practice in Germany.  Partnering with their Account Manager colleagues, they engage with current and prospective customers across the multinational companies and local account space. Their priority is building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally to help our customers benefit from our innovative and proven cybersecurity solutions and are backed by dedicated and trusted suppliers to deliver an exceptional customer experience every time.

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK…  

Become the Cloud reference partner of the assigned customers.

This role provides the Sales Consultant leadership and is responsible for developing the business opportunities around the Cloud space and support for assigned corporate customers in Germany.

 

The TTech Cloud Sales Specialists will work in coordination with the Telefonica Germany sales and sales specialist teams to ensure optimal e2e management of the opportunities. Their functions being the following in each of the stages of the sales process:

 

Stage: Generation of the opportunity & high level design of the solution

1. Generate funnel of cloud products and services and commercial momentum,

2. Identify the key stakeholders within the client, beyond those traditionally contacted by the local commercial team (IT, procurement or core communications).

3. Prepare commercial and product presentations to support meetings with customers and propose cloud services using an industry value proposition approach.

4. Accompany the local account manager of Telefonica Germany during the meeting and co-lead the sales process under a consultative approach that allows understanding the client's needs and adapting the Telefónica proposal towards personalized solutions that satisfy those needs

 

Stage: High-level design or proposal of the cloud solution that meets the needs identified in the client .

6. Interact with the local and global Marketing and Engineering teams of TTech Cloud and Telefonica Germany to identify the key components of the solution.

7. Provide support to local business and operations areas and TTech Cloud for the preparation of proofs of concept, demos of cloud services that help progress with the opportunity and offer

 

Stage: Preparation of the Offer

8. Provide the necessary information on the opportunity (customer information, problem or needs to be covered, proposed solution, etc.) to the Engineering area in charge of preparing the offer in each case.

9. Co-lead the presentation of the technical and economic offer of the solution to the client together with the commercial team of Telefonica Germany, leveraging their role as cloud specialist in the presentation or meeting with the client.

10. Co-lead the iterative process of negotiation with the client, collaborating with the realization of technical and economic adjustments to the proposal / offer presented as required by the client.

Other cross- activities

11. Collaborate with the product, operations areas as well as the German sales team to identify new market needs (products and services) based on customers’ needs.

12. Implementation of the local cloud business plans, tracking and assessing progress and implementing corrective actions if necessary.

13. Preparation of technical and commercial documentation to be used in training workshops for the local Telefonica Germany sales, presales and operations teams.

14. Share among the commercial areas and replicate success stories.

15. Tracking commercial progress and generate reports on business activity on a regular basis and at the request of business leaders.

 

AND FOR THAT, WE THINK IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR YOU TO HAVE...   

·  Typically requires at least a BS/CS degree + MBA or MSC desired.
·  Relevant Cloud industry certifications desired.
·  Technical knowledge of data network services (MPLS, SDN, SASE, LAN, WIFI, UCC)
·  Knowledge of Cloud environments AWS, Azure and Google Cloud will be highly valued
·  Experience in sales of Data center managed services and cloud migration projects will be valued 

Languages

·  German. Native.
·  English. Professional proficiency.
·  Spanish. (As a plus)
