Requisition:
The French International Internship Programme is open to French people between 18-28, who have fulfilled their national service obligations and is also open to Nationals of Member States of the European Economic Area (which includes the 28 Member States of the European Union and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Monaco, who have fulfilled the national service obligations in their State of residence. Company Overview
SUEZ is a major player in environmental services. For almost 160 years, SUEZ has supported local communities and industrial companies in the management of essential services such as water, waste, and air quality. As such, SUEZ produces drinking water for 66 million people worldwide, recovers 2 million tons of secondary raw materials per year, and generates 3.1 TWh of renewable energy from waste.

You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, and the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the countries where it is currently active (Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Romania, Croatia, and Uzbekistan). Additionally, Suez also keeps a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

SUEZ is present in Poland through different entities and sites: ARA (recently acquired), Czernica, Mława, Białystok, Warszawa and Mikołów. SUEZ Poland operates different businesses related to the water and waste treatment: development of new water projects (from the design and build of water treatment plants, to their operation and maintenance), development of Energy from Waste projects, and delivery of smart solutions products and services to water utilities.

Mission
The VIE will support local teams in the implementation of strategic development initiatives, focusing primarily on waste projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a key project while gaining hands-on international experience in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Our Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus)
Advanced command of English and Polish
Accuracy, analytical skills, commitment, and good organizational skills
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
Category B driving license
Knowledge of the industry will be an asset (water and wastewater/waste sector)

 
Your Responsibilities:

Gathering information to support the development activities of the SUEZ Group in Poland
Analyzing aggregated company data, preparing the presentations
Participating in development projects carried out by the company
Ongoing market analysis (e.g. press reviews and market trend observation)
Analyzing documentation and preparing summaries for the SUEZ team, as well as preparing reports
Occasional contact with clients
Business trips to clients
Support the rollout of the waste business in Poland, including coordination, monitoring, and follow-up of key milestones.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, legal) to build and consolidate business cases.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in meetings with partners, institutions, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
Translate and adapt documents and communication materials from English to Polish when required.

Candidate Profile

Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
First experience (internship or full-time) in business development, project management, consulting, or environmental services is an asset.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Autonomous, adaptable, and proactive.
Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Knowledge of French is a plus, but not required.
