You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Position Summary:



The Deployment Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the installation, configuration, and integration of digital solutions for monitoring cold water consumption through contractors. The project involves installing 669 777 metering devices and 25 445 data transmission and reception devices over a period of 5 years.

Key responsibilities include managing contractors, ensuring the quality of work, solving technical issues, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Technical Specifications (TSs) for contractors, and conducting training and briefings for contractors’ staff. The manager will also create reports, track project deadlines, budgets, and standards, and ensure successful technology integration.

The Deployment Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and high-quality implementation of the project at every stage of the equipment installation process in the field

 

Key Responsibilities:

  Сoordinate Contractors:

·     Manage the installation of equipment through contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.

Manage Internal Technical Teams:

·      Organize and manage internal teams while coordinating with contractors.

Develop and Implement SOPs and TSs:

·      Create technical documentation for contractors and internal teams.

Conduct Training and Briefings:

·     Organize and conduct training sessions for contractors and internal teams on installation, setup, and maintenance of equipment.

Monitor Deadlines and Budgets:

·   Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and meets project standards. Develop KPIs.

Solve Technical Problems: Address any technical issues that arise during the installation process and find solutions.

Technology Integration: Ensure successful integration of all systems with existing infrastructure and digital solutions

 

Who Should Apply:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Deployment Manager with experience in coordinating and managing the deployment of digital solutions, particularly in the installation and integration of smart cold water metering devices and data reception and transmission devices . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the deployment and integration of these systems, as well as a solid understanding of contractor management and team coordination.

The successful candidate will be well-versed in developing SOPs and TSs, training contractors and internal teams, ensuring quality control, and meeting project deadlines. The candidate should also possess strong problem-solving abilities to quickly address technical issues and ensure the successful execution of large-scale projects. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex tasks and risks in a dynamic environment are essential.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

 

Coordination and Management of Equipment Installation:

·  Manage the processes of installing and configuring smart cold-water meters and data reception and transmission devices that use the WM-Bus 434 MHz protocol.

Contractor Management:

·  Interact with contractors, coordinate their work, and ensure that the work is done according to project requirements.
·  Assess and monitor the quality of work and address technical issues that arise .
·  Ensure that contractors deliver tasks on time and in full accordance with the approved schedule and project scope.

Development of SOPs and TSs:

·  Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Technical Specifications (TSs) for contractors and internal teams.
·  Provide training for contractors’ staff and internal technical experts during the implementation of new technologies.

Conducting Training and Briefings:

·  Organize and conduct training sessions for contractors and internal staff on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment.
·  Conduct regular briefings on safe work methods and compliance with standards.

 

Quality Control and Deadline Adherence:

·  Ensure the work is completed within the designated timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
·  Regularly update project status reports, including the progress of work and identified risks.

Solving Technical Issues:

·  Quickly address technical problems and resolve faults that occur during the installation and operation of the equipment.
·  Collaborate with internal technical experts and contractors to resolve issues at the site.
·  If required preform configuration of the WM-Bus gateways.
·  Capability to analyze big data in order to preform decisions and optimize the processes.

Monitoring and Managing Risks:

·  Identify and minimize risks associated with the deployment process.
·  Conduct analyses to prevent potential delays or problems in the future .

Technology Integration:

·  Ensure the successful integration of installed systems with existing infrastructure and digital solutions.
·  Verify that all installed technologies meet project standards and requirements.

Logistics Management:

·  Plan and coordinate the delivery of equipment to sites.
·  Oversee the timely movement, storage, and distribution of metering devices and communication equipment.
·  Work with warehouses, transport companies, and contractors on logistical issues .

  Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?

 

Candidate Requirements:

·       Experience in coordinating contractors and managing internal technical teams.

·       Knowledge of logistics processes: planning deliveries, tracking and accounting for equipment movement.

·       Skills in developing technical documentation (SOPs, TSs, instructions).

·       Ability to conduct training, technical briefings, and explanatory sessions.

·       Proficiency in quality control methods and project management.

·       Experience with project schedules, budgets, and reporting.

·       Fluency in Russian and English.

·       A valid driver’s license of category B1 .
