Job description
STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Lean Analyst within the Industrial Engineering team.
Duties and Responsibilities
The IE Lean Analyst role is responsible for:
· Reporting the productivity data analyzing and communicating status, progress, and issues to Productivity Lead.
· Aims to create an accountable and transparent environment for successful implementation of transformation.
· Focus for Productivity & Headcount Improvement
Responsibilities and Deliverables are as follows:
· Works with Productivity Lead and area managers to set up and build an ambitious and realistic action plans and projects
· Works with area to create the action plan, set-up milestone and support assessing and challenging the impact of each initiatives to prioritize
· Supports team problem solving and provides the structure and methodology (e.g., root-cause problem solving)
· Supports initiative owners in implementing initiatives on the ground (e.g., training, SMED…)
· Coaches and provides feedbacks
· Tracks progress of the productivity and reports any issues
· Supports Initiative Leaders in collecting information and documenting the results/progress by initiative (e.g., reports (PowerBi), emerging issue logs, action plan)
· Identifies and highlights issues that need further investigation by the Area leaders
· Prepares reports and facilitates completion of ad hoc requests from IE
· Director or Area leaders
· Maintains energy by ensuring accurate and timely updates on the impact of each initiatives
· Keeps area leaders and management informed of progress and issues
· Presents productivity updates during key stakeholder meetings
· Prepares talking points for Leaders for Board updates and internal communications
· Is the owner of tracking the overall area performance and proactively identify needs tor support:
· Follows-up each area’s results, have historical view on performance
· Challenges performance and gaps to target
· Proactively identifies topics to be implemented in the area
· Coordinates handover of productivity in steady state as needed, highlight needs for training
· Maintain PowerBi dashboards
· Investigating new ideas for the improvements in all site, leading new projects
Profile
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
· Hold a Bachelor's Degree of education, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
· Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing production or similar roles.
· High performing individual with strong standing, structure, credibility across different teams
· Excellent problem-solving skills, data-oriented person ability to help others organize problem solving
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to proactively assess project status and highlight issues
· Attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Knowledge of relevant software skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi)
