YOUR ROLE

Within the Supply Chain, Demand S&OP and Market Intelligence organization, the Market & Business Intelligence Analyst will have a pivotal role in developing and maintaining ST's Market Reference Database , a core asset for the company's strategic decisions. This database combines external industry association and market research data with ST internal information to provide a consistent, trusted view of the semiconductor market.

You will be responsible for monthly market updates , analyzing what is happening in the market and translating data into clear, actionable insights.

You will work closely with internal teams (Finance & Control, Supply Chain, Product Groups, Sales & Marketing) and with external partners (industry associations and market research firms to ensure reliable data exchange, methodological alignment, and a robust understanding of market trends.

Highly autonomous, you will manage the end-to-end process of data preparation, consolidation, and distribution, ensure data quality, and adapt processes to organizational and tool changes.

Ensure data reconciliation between external taxonomies (e.g., product families, end-markets segments) and internal ST product and market structures.

Market Reference Database Ownership

·  Develop, maintain, and continuously improve ST's Market Reference Database
·  Ensure data reconciliation between external taxonomies (e.g., product families, end-markets segments) and internal ST product and market structures.
·  Coordinate regular data exchanges with external partners

Data Management, Quality and Governance

·  Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle : collection, ingestion, cleansing, mapping, validation, storage, and publication.
·  Implement and monitor data quality controls (completeness, consistency, timeliness, anomaly detection).
·  Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, sources, methodologies, and assumptions to ensure transparency and auditability.
·  Ensure data security and confidentiality , particularly for sensitive internal and partner data, in line with contractual and compliance requirements.

Reporting, Forecasting and Insight Generation

·  Deliver accurate and timely:
·  Billing and market share reports (e.g., by region, product family, end market, customer segment).
·  Market past, actual and forecasts , in collaboration with internal stakeholders and based on external association and research inputs.
·  Consolidated data sets integrated into digital tools (Power BI, Access, Excel) for strategic decision-making and executive reporting.
·  Provide sanitized and aggregated data to industry associations and research companies where applicable, respecting internal confidentiality rules and external contractual obligations.
·  Analyze trends and provide key insights and early “heads-up” on:
·  Market inflection points and demand shifts.
·  Segment outperformance/underperformance versus the market.
·  Company competitive positioning.

Stakeholder Communication and Advocacy

·  Present data, methodology and insights in a clear and convincing way to:
·  Internal stakeholders: managers, EVPs, board-level committees and supervisory bodies.
·  External market research and industry association counterparts, ensuring alignment on assumptions and interpretations.
·  Act as a trusted advisor on market data topics, challenging or confirming assumptions with factual evidence.
·  Produce concise, visually effective reports, dashboards and executive summaries tailored to different audiences (operational vs. strategic).
·  Maintain regular operational and methodological contact with External data providers for submissions, data reconciliation, and methodology and segmentation clarifications. Participation in review calls, webinars, and analyst briefings when relevant.
·  Bring back external viewpoints and benchmarks into internal discussions, enhancing ST's competitiveness and market intelligence .

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

·  Engineering or Business school Master degree or similar
·  2 years experience (professional, intership
·  English: fluent, professional (written and spoken). Other languages are a plus in a multicultural and international environment.

·  Experience in data consolidation, validation, accuracy control, and security .
·  Ability to design and maintain structured datasets, with clear mapping between external taxonomies and internal structures.
·  Proficiency in Microsoft tools : Power BI for dashboards and visual analytics., Excel, MS Access and VBA for data handling and automation.
·  Experience with data lakes and data querying (e.g., SQL or similar query languages).
·  Familiarity with forecasting techniques (time series, scenario-based, seasonality, top-down and bottom-up approaches).

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills , able to:
·  Produce clear, structured reports and presentations.
·  Explain methodologies, limitations, and key takeaways to non-experts.
·  Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders , including executives and board-level participants.

·  High autonomy , able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
·  Capacity to adapt processes to evolving tools, organization, and data sources.
·  Proactive issue communication , including early escalation and proposal of mitigation actions.
·  Industry Knowledge, Understanding the semiconductor market is a strong plus.

·  Strong collaboration mindset, comfortable working in a matrix organization and interfacing across functions and geographies.
·  High sense of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive internal and external information.
·  Great attention to detail and rigor, combined with the ability to step back and provide a clear “so what” to management.
