Posting Description
Working within the Edinburgh Analogue Design Team brings challenges in specification definition, design, modelling and implementation of analogue blocks. With an immediate focus on time of flight products the role will expose the candidate to the latest product development using SPAD technology.
As such, the candidate will have a solid background in analogue design including tangible industrial or academic experience. High speed CMOS circuit design and understanding of precision timing is advantageous. Experience with blocks such as TDC, LDO regulators, charge pumps, oscillators, DLL, PLL would also be relevant. The candidate will be responsible for the schematic capture, layout / layout supervision, extraction and simulation of analogue IP and subsequently for its integration into the top level of the design.
TOF products require many disciplines to work together and as such the role may involve project work with non-silicon design teams such as optics and mechanical design.
