PickyPal is a tech startup reinventing online shopping with generative AI. Our main product is an AI-powered shopping advisor that guides consumers during their online purchases, offering personalized advice and recommendations, thereby enhancing the customer experience and boosting conversion rates. We are initially focusing on the parapharmacy and cosmetics sectors.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled data scientist, machine learning expert, and backend developer to join our team and help develop the first version of our product. You will work closely with our CEO and technical advisors.

Responsibilities

· 
Design and develop machine learning models tailored to our product needs, particularly for creating a specialized advisor capable of sales conversations and product recommendations.

· 
Implement data processing algorithms to manage and structure product and customer data.

· 
Develop the backend for integrating AI models, including API development and microservices, with a focus on security and scalability.

· 
Collaborate with the team to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

· 
Test and validate models under real-world conditions to ensure their performance and reliability.

· 
Maintain thorough documentation of code and development processes.

· 
Deploy the product for client use.

Preferred Experience

Required Skills

· 
Proven experience in data science and machine learning , including the application of recommendation models and NLP algorithms.

· 
Proficiency in programming languages , especially Python, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

· 
Backend development expertise with technologies such as Node.js, Django, or Flask.

· 
Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data graph structures.

· 
Experience with cloud deployment (AWS or GCP) and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines .

· 
Ability to work independently and collaborate in an agile startup environment.
