Job Description
Neurobus is a French DeepTech startup developing next-generation autonomous systems powered by neuromorphic AI and event-based sensing technologies. Our solutions enable ultra-low-power, real-time intelligence for defense, aerospace, drone, and space applications.
As Neurobus enters a new phase of growth, including government-funded projects, strategic partnerships, and fundraising activities, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to build and manage the company's financial and operational backbone.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for financial planning, accounting oversight, administrative operations, grant management, HR administration, and investor reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic finance with operational execution in a fast-growing startup environment.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Management
·
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Monitor financial performance and key business metrics.
·
Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards.
·
Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
·
Manage relationships with accountants, auditors, banks, and financial partners.
Fundraising & Investor Relations
·
Support equity fundraising and debt financing activities.
·
Prepare financial models, investor reporting, and due diligence materials.
·
Maintain data rooms and financial documentation.
·
Assist in interactions with investors and public funding agencies.
Grants & Public Funding
·
Manage financial reporting for public funding programs (Bpifrance, ESA, EIC, DGA, European Commission, etc.).
·
Ensure compliance with funding requirements and reporting obligations.
·
Track project budgets and eligible expenditures.
·
Support the preparation of future grant applications.
Administration & Operations
·
Oversee administrative processes and company operations.
·
Manage supplier contracts, procurement, and operational documentation.
·
Improve internal processes and operational efficiency.
·
Ensure compliance with legal and administrative requirements.
HR Administration
·
Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
·
Coordinate payroll preparation with external providers.
·
Manage employment contracts, benefits, and HR documentation.
·
Monitor administrative compliance related to employees and contractors.
Preferred Experience
Experience
·
3–8 years of experience in Finance, Operations, Administration, Audit, Corporate Finance, or Startup Finance.
·
Experience in startups, technology companies, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance is highly valued.
·
Experience managing public grants and innovation funding programs is a strong plus.
Skills
·
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
·
Comfortable interacting with executives, investors, auditors, and public institutions.
Technical Skills
·
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.

Familiarity with ERP, accounting, HR, and payroll tools.
·
Experience with startup fundraising processes is a plus.
Education
·
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
·
CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are a plus but not required.
Languages
·
Fluent English required.

Professional French strongly preferred.

Recruitment Process
Step 1 – CV Review
Assessment of financial, operational, and administrative experience.
Step 2 – Introductory Interview (45 minutes)
Discussion with the CEO regarding your background, motivation, and experience managing finance and operations.
Step 3 – Financial Case Study
Preparation of a short budgeting, forecasting, or grant-management exercise based on a realistic Neurobus scenario.
Step 4 – Final Interview
Discussion of the case study and evaluation of your operational, financial, and organizational capabilities.
Step 5 – Reference Checks
Professional reference checks with former managers, founders, or finance leaders.
