Your tasks and responsibilities
· Carbon Assessments: Take the lead on engaging carbon assessments, diving into the data and working closely with our clients to deliver precise outcomes. You'll be their guide through our platform, helping them understand our algorithms' outputs for a smooth and insightful journey.
· Client-Centered Approach: Embrace the unique challenges and structures of various companies, working diligently to provide exceptional value to our clients. Your adaptability and insight will make all the difference in meeting their high expectations. Your ability to communicate effectively in German will be crucial in serving our German-speaking clientele.
· Innovative Solutions: Craft and propose actionable plans, climate roadmaps, and build Science-Based Targets (SBTi) assessments to assist clients in fulfilling their sustainability pledges. Your expertise will be vital in conveying complex ideas in German to ensure clarity and understanding.
· Climate Strategy Support: Stand by our customers in their climate strategy endeavors, aiding them on their journey to carbon reduction. Your proficiency in German will enhance your ability to support our clients in German-speaking regions.
· Executive Communication: Showcase your findings to executive teams and C-level stakeholders, supporting their decision-making processes. Being fluent in German will enable you to present your insights effectively to our German-speaking executives and stakeholders.
As a key member of our team, you will manage a portfolio of clients, guiding them through their long-term climate strategies, with a focus on German-speaking clients.
Preferred experience
· You have 2 years of experience working in a relevant position (engineering, carbon accounting, climate strategy).
· Language skills : you are a native German speaker or have a native-equivalent capacity to communicate (verbally and in writing) in this language.
· Passionate About Making a Difference: Your drive is fueled by the desire to contribute to the fight against climate change. Being able to communicate this passion in German is highly valued.
· Carbon Accounting: You are enthusiastic about carbon accounting. You understand its importance and basic principles. The more you already know, the better!
· Analytical Mindset: Problem-solving is your forte, always with an innovative twist. Your analytical skills, coupled with your German language proficiency, will be essential in delivering precise outcomes to our German-speaking clients.
· Tech-Savvy: Your toolkit includes Excel, Python, SQL, or similar database experiences. Being able to navigate these tools and explain their usage in German will be beneficial.
· Multilingual: Native-like proficiency in German and English C1 proficiency. Your bilingual skills will be crucial in supporting our diverse client base and ensuring clear communication across languages.
