Our innovative climate suite combines smart data collection with advanced features, making it the most intuitive carbon accounting solution in the world. With Greenly, companies can precisely measure, actively reduce, and report on their progress. Additionally, our clients receive dedicated support from our climate experts throughout their journey.

Greenly supports over 3,000 companies across more than 20 countries to measure their carbon footprint (through carbon assessment and life cycle analyses), reduce their emissions (SBTi trajectory and action plan quantification), and comply with new regulations (CSRD, CBAM, ISSB).

We are a team of 270 people from 38 nationalities based in Paris, London, Barcelona and New York, which allows us to strengthen our international presence.

 About the role 

You are responsible for building strong relationships with customers and prospects by connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and developing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client questions and identify new business opportunities. 

 Duties and Responsibilities  

·  Communicate with customers to understand their needs, and help them through email/phone calls

·  Build and develop relationships with customers and potential new customers based on trust and respect

·  Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

·  Liaise between the customer and internal teams

·  Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes

·  Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

·  Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.

·  Increase customer retention and upsell

·  Manage & resolve complex customer situations

·  Build and improve dashboards and workflows to simplify the teams’ performance by automating repetitive tasks

·  Design and implement efficient reporting to Management, including analysis of retention metrics and improvement suggestions

 Skills and experience required for the role 

·  Previous experience in account management or sales, ideally having worked with enterprise accounts. 

·  Solid knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulations. 

·  Customer obsession You love helping your clients and know how to nurture relationships.

·  Sales mindset and analytical skills to leverage data in decision making. 

·  Show a clear understanding of Greenly’s offer and values

·  A native-equivalent level of proficiency in both english and french. 

·  Great interpersonal and cross collaboration skills.

·  Comfortable working in a fast paced environment focused on scaling globally.

·  Willingness to work shifted hours to accommodate US time zones (at least 3 times per week)
