Digital Channel Manager - Social Media

Sonova is seeking a Digital Channel Manager to oversee and optimize our wholesale social media platforms. This role ensures alignment with brand and business goals, manages platform operations, and provides strategic guidance to improve social media effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
* Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for social media platforms.
* Oversee global wholesale brand (Phonak, Unitron, Hansaton) social media channels.
* Manage content publishing, campaign execution, and platform administration.
* Optimize tools like Hootsuite, Amplify, and other social technologies.
* Provide consultancy to brands and local marketing teams on best practices.

Content & Community Engagement
* Create and implement strategies to drive engagement, awareness, and conversions.
* Manage user-generated content, community interactions, and social listening.
* Develop employee advocacy programs to enhance Sonova’s social media presence.
* Guide campaign teams on content strategies and ROI-driven messaging.

Operations & Performance Tracking
* Partner with regional teams to integrate platforms and optimize performance.
* Ensure smooth operation of platforms, troubleshooting issues as needed.
* Oversee performance tracking, dashboards, and reporting for insights.
* Identify trends and optimization strategies to improve effectiveness.

Training & Governance
* Develop training materials and conduct workshops on social media best practices.
* Establish governance models to standardize processes across regions.
* Ensure compliance with company guidelines, legal standards, and data privacy regulations.

Paid Media & Advertising
* Plan and execute paid media strategies, including audience targeting and campaign optimization.
* Manage social selling frameworks and integrate social media into the sales process.

Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media.
* Experience managing global digital operations teams.

Skills & Competencies:
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to lead global business projects independently.
* Deep expertise in social media channels and digital marketing strategies.
* Proficiency with Hootsuite Enterprise, social listening tools, and data analysis.
* Knowledge of Salesforce product ecosystem is a plus. 


Travel
* Up to 10%


A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $111,000 - $120,000 annually.
