Job description

SIXENSE principal mission is to provide support to designers, builders, operators and infrastructure owners in order to successfully overcome three main challenges facing them: construction project management, asset management, risk management.

Main Purpose of Job:
- To produce the necessary documentation, procedures for the installation and maintenance of the site monitoring database.
- To install, configure, maintain SIXENSE IT network.
- To install, configure, tune and maintain SIXNESE Monitoring Database.
- To configure groups of Cyclops.
- To install and manage the site database and SIXENSE software suite.
- To assist SIXENSE site Data Managers and monitoring Engineers.
- To set up an automatic backup of the site files and database.

Example of tasks to be carried out :
1. Supervision of all site monitoring information, and maintenance of the servers and databases
2. Assist SIXENSE Surveyors and Project Managers to interpret site specifications
3. Confirm with the Project Manager prior to auctioning instructions received directly from the client
4. Take responsibility for data quality and correctness, in the context of understanding the project and relating measurements to construction progress. Check processed data is correct and if the information is accurate
5. Report site information to the Project Manager as required by the Company Management System
6. Configure and maintaining monitoring sensors
7. Optimise and maintain the SIXESNE monitoring database and manage the site database and software suite liaison with IT Support
8. Assist the Project Manager to ensure the monitoring software is presented to and used by the client and other stakeholders in the most suitable way to meet the project requirements and provide added value to the project.
9. Ensure the confidentiality of project information by respecting Company policies.
10. Check and maintain on a daily basis the various projects monitoring systems and databases in order to offer the client the expected availability and measurement performance.
11. Set up and maintain automated backup of site files
12. Produce the necessary documentation and procedures, for the installation and maintenance of the site monitoring database.
13. Participate in the design and production of reports during the different phases of the project 

Desired profile

About you : 

- Experience in working in a construction site environment
- Relevant construction/IT skills qualification.
- Experience in working with and installing SIXENSE monitoring equipment
- Experience in using SIXENSE monitoring techniques
- Good survey and topographic skills
- Good listening and leading skills.
- Good Computer skills
- Good IT / network skills
- Database management skills
- Ideally would have Rail industry experience (although not essential)

Physical Working Environment:

Generally head office based, with site visits to assist the configuration and the optimisation of the various projects monitoring system, with some call out or 24hr cover periods required for critical works, but shift patterns are to be developed to comply with working hours regulations
