Role
The Salesforce.org marketing team is looking for an Account Based Marketing (ABM) Manager. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team within specific, target and strategic accounts. They will act as a liaison between marketing, sales strategy, and sales teams, as well as central demand functions such as campaigns, digital and creative to develop 1:1, and 1: few tactics designed to penetrate target and strategic accounts.
The ABM manager will lead and build marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics as well as managing 3rd party vendors to support growth in both our strategic and target accounts. They will partner closely with internal stakeholders to report key findings to marketing and sales team, and to the SFDO leadership team.
Responsibilities

· Develop and execute Salesforce.org's account based marketing strategy, working closely with the strategic accounts team, sales strategy, sales and marketing functions to implement account based marketing tactics into account level plans
· Take a data-driven approach to customizing marketing assets and developing initiatives and tactics that align with the customer journey, sales buying stages, and support the account go-to-market plan for our strategic and target accounts
· Deploy marketing initiatives using various mediums including digital, content, events, and social media
· Coordinate with sales and marketing operations to operationalize ABM planning: tracking, new metrics generation: NPS, Account Coverage, Engagement, Reach (touches), Influence
· Collaborate with the Marketing and Industry Solutions teams to create and gain consensus for go-to-market (GTM) plans and marketing plays in alignment with product launches, new features and sales directives
· Analyze performance and report against key metrics
· Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
· Create annual and quarterly marketing plans and targets for targeted sales accounts and contacts that focus on new logos and accelerate existing opportunities.
· Manage dedicated account based marketing budget
Experience/Skills Required
·
· 5-7 years of B2B demand generation, account based marketing, or field marketing experience
· Experience working closely with marketing teams and sales executives to develop marketing processes, strategies, and content requirements
· Proven track record with account-based marketing programs and supporting large account selling teams
· Proven track record executing innovative, integrated and multi-channel demand generation programs
· Solid experience creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking
· Experience in marketing and sales tech stack: Salesforce and Pardot or Marketing Cloud
· Strong understanding of how to use sales and marketing insights, inbound and content marketing tactics to deliver improved lead generation results
· Familiarity with the technical sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
· Strong and effective communication skills with a focus on supporting the business
· Analytical mindset with ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
· Entrepreneurial mindset, creating a new program, driving adoption internally and highlighting success metrics
