Job description
The mission shall take place in Rzeszow, based in Safran Aircraft Engines Poland offices.
JUNIOR MECHANICAL SIMULATION ENGINEER
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities:
·
Preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, crack propagation) of aero engine components using FEA (ANSYS Workbench and other) and analytical methods under supervision
·
Preparation of analyses and reports
·
Assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components and their effects on the product
·
Preparation of 2D and 3D technical documentation using Catia V5
·
Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production
·
Technical support to other departments for process improvement
·
Technical validation of concessions related with visual, dimensional and process non-conformities of aero engines components
·
Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, production permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products
Candidate skills & requirements
Our requirements :
·
Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
·
Understanding of mechanical theory.
·
Basic understanding of the structure and operation of aircraft engines.
·
Experience in simulation techniques.
·
Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, "can-do" attitude, and decision-making skills.
·
Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
·
Willingness to learn and develop new skills and competencies.
·
High attention to detail and accuracy.
·
English language proficiency, minimum B2 level.
Optional:
· Coding skills in Python and VBA.
