The Test Engineer will provide testing support to engineering projects related to water and waste systems and components. Using sound engineering principles, this engineer will work to ensure that accurate and representative test stands and system test rigs are constructed and maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Supports the system or project engineer in the fabrication of equipment for the purpose of engineering evaluation and testing of products or systems.
• Utilizes sound technical problem solving to support ongoing projects with support from higher level engineers
• Able to accurately capture test data and document via test reports for submittal to external customers
• Able to work independently to support engineering efforts.
• Able to demonstrate the test stands/rigs to customers
• Takes responsibility (technical and project management) small/medium projects with support from management and/or higher level engineers.
• Has the mechanical, electrical, and control/software knowledge to lead the construction of system test rigs
• Provides input for system improvements based on testing observations.
• Utilizes sound technical problem solving to own or support ongoing and new projects
• Other duties as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is between $70,310 - $101,090 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Candidate skills & requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related field
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Design, Analysis, and/or testing environment
Computer Skills:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of CAD, PLM Systems, and Computational Based Analytical Software
