As a Quality Intern in WWS, you will support the quality management team in ensuring the highest standards of quality for aerospace components and processes. You will gain hands-on experience in quality control, quality assurance, data analysis, and process improvement within the aerospace sector. The internship offers the opportunity to contribute to both the daily operations and long-term quality initiatives, helping to enhance product reliability, safety, and performance.
Support the Quality Team by performing any of the following duties:
• Assist with quality inspections, data collection, and documentation to support ongoing quality activities.
• Support the creation, revision, and organization of quality documents, including inspection reports, work instructions, and procedures.
• Help maintain quality metrics, charts, and databases used to monitor performance and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and HSE teams to identify quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and 5S/Lean activities as assigned.
• Assist with incoming, in‑process, or final inspections, including verification of specifications, documentation, and traceability.
• Support Quality Engineers with special projects, production support requests, and continuous improvement events.
• Develop and process a FAIR according to AS9102 Rev C
• Root Cause and Corrective Action Development
• MRB Process

Candidate skills & requirements
Internships are 12-weeks in duration and 29 hours/week.
Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Ideal for 3rd or 4th year or post graduate students
Computer Skills:
• Basic understanding of ERP systems
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Attention to detail, Problem-Solving and analytical thinking
• Exposure to quality concepts such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or Lean principles.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis (e.g., control charts, Pareto, cause‑and‑effect diagrams).
• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
