Job description
What does the role look like?
To support the production and assembly of aerospace components within Safran Actuation. Working under supervision, the apprentice will follow engineering drawings, work instructions and quality standards while developing practical skills, technical knowledge and safe working practices in line with local procedures and aerospace regulations
Provide Quality interface between Quality, Operations, support functions and Clinics
Support Quality Clinic Investigations
Support QN resolution
Support with line side quality investigations
Support with Quality improvement projects
Interface with Operations and Supply Chain teams for all Clinic related Quality issues
Ensure full containment of all quality related issues is executed as required
Measure and analyse Quality Clinic performance data
Support Customer Quality Engineers in RRCA
Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to all applicable requirements
Ensure critical QNs are actioned through 8D's and other problem-solving tools.
Support the reduction of non-conformances both Internal & External to eliminate repeat QNs
Support SRR reduction projects
Perform any additional tasks when required to support the Quality team

Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing principles

IT skills
Understanding of health, safety and quality requirements
GCSE's (or equivalent) in Maths, English & Science (or working towards)
Evidence of practical or technical interest (e.g. school projects, workshops, college studies)
