·  Objective:

Under general supervision, the OTD Coordinartor is directly accountable for managing a portfolio of customer orders to support on-time delivery (OTD) performance. This role acts as the operational owner of assigned orders, ensuring schedules are aligned with production realities and that customer-facing teams receive accurate, timely status updates.

Main Function Responsibilities

A) Own and manage a defined portfolio of customer aftermarket orders from release through shipment

B) Partner daily with Operations, Planning and Supply Chain to align production schedules and material availability with customer delivery commitments

C) Proactively identify risks to on-time delivery (OTD) and drive mitigation or recovery plans

D) Reschedule orders in the ERP system to reflect realistic and validated ship dates

E) Ensure system data integrity and accuracy of all order details (dates, quantities, priorities)

F) Communicate clear, timely, and accurate order status updates to Customer Support and other customer-facing teams

G) Provide recovery plans and revised commitments when delays occur, ensuring transparency and alignment

H) Escalate critical delivery risks with recommended action plans to leadership when necessary

I) Support backlog management and contribute to overall OTD performance metrics

J) Performs other duties as assigned

Candidate skills & requirements

A. Education & Qualification:

• Associate Degree in Business or related field is required; or three (3) years of experience supporting sales, marketing or customer relations.

B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience within operations. Prefer experience within the Safran Seats USA organization.

• Experience in a customer related area or proven ability to work well with customers required.

• Has a wide variety of experience in Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning and understands the terminology and operating methods.

C. Professional Skills:

• Must be proficient in the operation of office computers.

• Must have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software products

• Provides and communicates relevant information in a timely manner and provides reports on activities.

• Utilizes continuous improvement in analyzing actions, problems and creating or suggesting solutions.

• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

• Ability to read and review written communication.

• Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

D. Behavioral Skills:

• Must have ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must be able to interface with all departments within the company, as well as multi-cultural outside customers.

• Provides and communicates relevant information in a timely manner and provides reports on activities.

• Utilizes continuous improvement in analyzing actions, problems and creating or suggesting solutions.

• Must be able to work extended hours as needed.

Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required dur
