Our Operations department is currently looking for an Operations Scheduling Specialist.
responsible for the daily and weekly operations planning, optimizing the TAT and maintaining the actual standards. Also following up on the planning execution and making adjustments in order to achieve the OTD and TAT targets; develop performance standards for our maintenance activities.
Complementary Description
Your role:
• Plan the workshop activities, in line with the priorities discussed with the Operations Manager, Planning Manager, Completion Manager and the Accounts department in order to minimize the TAT & maximize delivery performance.
• Communicate the planning towards the Shift Managers and the Team Leaders.
• Follow up on the planning execution and give feedback to the Operation Manager, Planning Manager, Shifts Managers and Team Leaders in order to be able to achieve the targets.
• Escalate the main problems to the Operations Manager.
• Participate to Corporate planning meetings.
• Reporting of daily operational performance towards the Operations Manager, the Shifts Managers & the Planning Manager.
• Prioritize in consultation with the Operations Manager & Planning Manager.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Job Requirements
The required profile for the Operations Scheduling Specialist position:
• Bachelor degree, or similar by experience
• Good language skills (Dutch, French, English)
• Technical background with good engine knowledge
• General knowledge of quality systems
• Advanced IT skills (advanced Excel and Power BI)
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Open to change, result driven and customer oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
