Job description

• Receive on-dock Customer and Supplier shipments

• Create Receiving Advices into SAP including serial numbers as required and forward parts and paperwork accordingly

• Load/unload trucks

• Package and process outbound shipments to Customers and Suppliers in a time sensitive environment

• Inspect all product to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travellers

Candidate skills & requirements

• 3 to 5 years of Shipper/Receiver experience in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment

• Must possess a valid Forklift license

• Military packaging knowledge and Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate would be an asset

• Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations a desired asset

• Knowledge/understanding of SAP

• Proven problem solving skills and experience with lean manufacturing

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Ability to use hand and machine tools

• Excellent computer and problem solving skills

• Self-motivated; able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision

• The ability to work shifts when required

• Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.

• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must

Rate: Starting at $34.68 per hour as per Collective Agreement
