We're recruiting for several Technical Manufacturing and Production Apprenticeships!

The programme begins with your first year spent in full-time study at the Newport and District Group Training Association (NDGTA), conveniently located just across the road from our Cwmbran site.

During this first year, you'll focus on developing the core engineering skills that will form the foundation of your future career—such as working with tools and understanding essential processes. From year two onwards, you'll move into a blended learning approach: working on-site four days a week to complete your practical qualification and apply what you've learned, while spending one day per week back at college to continue your academic studies.

In your second year, you'll rotate through a variety of manufacturing and production methods, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as:

CNC & Manufacturing Support

You'll work directly with CNC programs—checking, testing, and using basic inspection tools to ensure parts meet accuracy standards. You'll help set up and maintain machines, follow safety procedures, and keep your workspace organised. Along the way, you'll look for smarter ways to work, support continuous improvement activities, and collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to keep manufacturing information accurate. You'll also assist with tooling and material requests, maintain program records, and even help design simple jigs and fixtures. This role is all about precision, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Assembly

You'll play a key role in building world-class aircraft seating! From assembling and installing seat and cabin components to troubleshooting and testing, you'll make sure everything works perfectly. You'll promote best practices, drive continuous improvement, and keep safety, quality, and efficiency at the heart of what we do. Plus, you'll get hands-on with tools, jigs, and fixtures and support the launch of new products into production. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while making a real impact on our operations.

This is an incredible opportunity to build your skills while making a real impact on our operations. Once you successfully complete your apprenticeship, you'll have the chance to either continue your learning with a further apprenticeship or step into a full-time role—opening the door to an exciting career in Advanced Manufacturing.

But what else? (benefits, specificities, etc.)
