Job description
The primary responsibility of this position will be to support all maintenance and housekeeping related activities related to the sustainment of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• General: utilize hand tools, power tools & equipment including fork trucks and automobiles to maintain, repair and fabricate items throughout the grounds and facility.
• Perform common housekeeping tasks related to a factory environment (i.e. trash removal, recycling, floor and carpet maintenance, painting, assembly of pre-fabricated items, & furniture moving).
• Support Industrial Engineers with 5S Initiatives.
• Support HR and Employee's Club with company events.
• Open and close facility if required.
• Other duties as assigned

• Capable of assisting senior mechanics with carpentry, electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Knowledge of 5S workplace practices.
• Willing to work outside in inclement weather conditions.
• Capable of climbing ladders, standing prolonged periods, lifting, crouching, shoveling snow & cutting grass.
• Team player, and excellent attendance record is a must
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Examples:
• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Purchasing or related field and 8+ years purchasing negotiation experience in a fast paced manufacturing sector such as Aerospace, Automotive, High tech, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires 5 years management or supervisory experience working with a team of 10+ members.
