The IT Specialist ensures that IT or telephony equipment (software or hardware) linked to workstations are well installed, and fully operational. Upon request by users, maintains equipment (on-site or remotely), and deals with incidents and requests. Provides frontline support to resolve incidents impeding the quality or continuity of service.
Ensures everyday management of operations (on-site or off network), in compliance with deadlines and expected quality standards. Monitors the running of physical IT equipment, according to standards frameworks, operating methods and safety procedures.

• Carries out installation of IT or telephony equipment (applications, computing hardware, telephony hardware or accessories)
• Deploys software, according to company and user needs.
• Deals with frontline anomalies or incidents: diagnostics, identification, information, resolution, formulation, both on site and remotely.
• Installs security updates as per Safran Corporate requirements.
• Ensures incidents and requests are resolved according to defined service level agreements (SLAs) and if applicable are appropriately escalated and followed through until completion.
• Develops key team deliverables and dashboards.
• Drives to key performance indicators (KPIs); improving security metrics and services to our users and company guidelines.
• Ensures timely, clear communication regarding high priority issues with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Active Directory support. User account provisioning/deployment, on-boarding/terminations, and documentation of such.
• Maintain and manage Group Policies.
• Proactively contribute to service improvement initiatives and provide technical expertise and assistance on project assignments
• Accurate documentation of all activities conducted thru a ticketing system
• Basic network administration, user training, testing, and implementing new software applications & new hardware platforms.
• Ability to document processes, develops and conducts presentations as needed.
• Administer, Control and configure Cellphones for existing and new users
• Quotes for Software and Hardware
• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Complementary Description
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
• The position will require you to walk around the facility & work at your desk.
• You may occasionally need to lift and move objects up to 35 pounds.
• The work environment is a balance between working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and working at a desk/cubicle with moderate noise.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
• • 2 to 3 years of career experience in technology and Program Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Foundation certification or better. – advanced
• One year experience leading and managing high priority incident calls to resolution. – advanced
• Familiarity with ServiceNow. – basic
• Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems and platforms - advanced
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools including Excel Word and Power Point. – advanced
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 – advanced
• Experience with Microsoft Active directory and group policy management
