Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Intern, Continues Improvement you'll play a pivotal part on our quality team. The Continuous Improvement Intern will support ongoing safety, environmental, and Lean improvement initiatives across the site. This role is designed for a college student interested in health & safety, environmental compliance, operational excellence, or industrial engineering. The intern will assist with projects related to audits, documentation updates, training materials, process mapping, and improvement events that strengthen workplace safety culture and operational efficiency.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Support the HSE & Continuous Improvement Team by performing any of the following duties: Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
• Assist with safety inspections, walk throughs, and hazard identification activities.
• Help maintain and update SDS logs, training records, and regulatory documentation.
• Support incident investigations by gathering info, preparing reports, and recording corrective actions.
• Participate in PPE evaluations, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Assist in updating HSE training materials, signage, and communication boards.
• Support waste, recycling, and environmental compliance programs.
Continuous Improvement (CI)
• Support Kaizen events, 5S activities, and process mapping workshops.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.
• Help develop or update standard work, process flows, and visual management tools.
For Cabin TA Internships:
Internships are 12-weeks in duration and 29 hours/week.

The expected salary range for this position is between $22/hr-$24/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Ideal for 3rd or 4th year or post graduate students.
Computer Skills:
• Experience or basic understanding of ERP systems
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Interest in HSE, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to OSHA, environmental regulations, or safety coursework.
• Experience with Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, or visual management.
• Coursework or project experience related to sustainability, safety, or process improvement.
