Due to ongoing and an increasing workload, we are now seeking an additional Distribution Centre Operative to join our MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) team in Gloucester. You'll get to work with a diverse and knowledgeable team and have opportunities to learn and progress. With investment being made on site it's an exciting time to join our growing local team!

What will I be doing?

Ensure salvageable items are collated efficiently.

Ensure all serviceable items are collated accurately and stored efficiently within the DC centre. To ensure scrap storage and disposal is coordinated effectively.

Ensure all conformity requirements are satisfied when transferring parts between kits prior to onward release.

Ensure all necessary traceability information is provided for each lifed item.

Effective management of new spares & production float stocks.

Ensure accurate stock levels through effective booking / loading, checking / cycle counts error file management and confirmed picking activity.

Accurate record maintenance through efficient scanning, data transfer and system maintenance.

Collection of parts from local suppliers and storage facilities.

What do I need to succeed in the role?

Excellent IT skills.

Highly attuned attention to detail.

Effective communication skills

Proven work experience within Stores / Picking

This role will be working shifts consisting of Days, Lates and Nights on a rotating basis.
