Job description

Responsible for driving functional excellence, methodologies, and standards globally across the engineering discipline/domain in multi-projects teams

Responsible for the technical oversight of all documentation necessary to obtain discipline deliverables of SCCZ products.

Lead efforts to develop methodologies, processes and procedures specific to the discipline function to support continuous improvement, standardization and drive efficiencies across the development and certification process

Involvement in technical communities, internal and external, to understand new innovation, technology updates and collaboration opportunities

Candidate skills & requirements

BS Engineering/Science (MS preferred), Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Aviation/Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience welcome

Experience working with the FAA, EASA and other Regulatory Agencies.

Ability to build effective working relationships, persuade and influence, and problem-solve complex issues.

Experience coaching and providing technical leadership to a team of engineers.

Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.

Advanced in English in both spoken and written form
