Job description
Role Overview
A Supply Chain Data Manager is responsible for defining and managing the governance of the data, guaranting its good application, improving efficiency and maturity of supply chain processes, and enhancing decision-making. He/she acts as a bridge between raw operational data and actionable business insights, helping procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution teams make informed choices.
The role requires technical and business knowledge, focusing on data modeling, reporting, and performance monitoring across the supply chain and other interface such as Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering …
Key Responsibilities
•Collect, clean, and validate data from supply chain systems.
•Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track supply chain performance (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover, demand forecast accuracy).
•Perform root cause analysis on supply chain inefficiencies.
•Guarantee the performance of Data Management in SCM and accuracy of ERP supply chain parameter and focal point of ERP.
•Help with migration of data's.
•Produce and maintain the monitoring plan
•Monitor the quality of data and its integrity & fairness of performance KPIs.
•Support route optimization, freight cost analysis, and carrier performance evaluation.
•Identify opportunities for process automation in reporting and data pipelines.
•Recommend process improvements to improve reliability of the data, to build process robustness.
•Conduct risk analysis to avoid supply chain process problems
•Share results with management. If necessary, Monitor the constituent indicators of the reliability KPI in QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control). The measurement must be considered as an aid for drawing up an improvement plan not as a judgment.
•Provide directions; explain to the operators how their data is used.
•Studying the criticality of the non-conformities helps identify:
•Sensitive data/attributes,
•Customers impacted by the process,
•Owners,
•Frequency of the inspection.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 5 years In-depth knowledge in the field of SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with ERP implementation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
• Strong team player with collaborative and organizational strengths.
