Job description
We are currently seeking applications from a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is interested in commencing a Warehousing Traineeship. The successful candidate will enjoy working within an open, friendly and social culture, whilst completing the nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III Transport & Logistics (Warehousing & Storage).
Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on traineeship, you will support daily warehouse operations while developing skills in inventory control, logistics processes, and workplace administration.
Your duties will include:
• Receiving, storing, picking, and issuing stock
• Assisting with stocktakes, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
• Delivering stock to designated areas
• Maintaining accurate records and completing computer-based tasks
• Supporting the warehouse team and supervisor with projects as required
Candidate skills & requirements
About You
This role is suited to both school leavers and candidates who have some junior warehousing experience. The successful candidate will be employed initially on a 24-month contract and will be given the opportunity to complete a traineeship during this time. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Airline Operations (Ground Staff) Award 2020.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Have basic computer skills including the ability to use Excel and Word
• Have some experience in customer service
• Work well in a team environment
• Effective communication skills
