What will I be doing?
Responsible for driving the human, financial and industrial business unit operations: to industrialise, produce and ensure product quality at the targeted cost to the business. Ensure the advancement of business unit operations according to the continuous improvement plan and assure customer satisfaction (internal & external) in terms of quality, cost and delivery.

Manage the Company
·
Manage all risks, ensure robust business continuity plans are in place
·
Manage the allocation of resources and resolve imbalances through the IBP Process
·
Support the Global Governance structure
·
Ensure the safety and integrity of all information.
·
Ensure that a continuous improvement plan exists.
Manage the Program
·
Make suggestions and recommendations for make or buy of in-house manufactured products.
·
Drive the industrial validation file and MRP11 Processes (MPS/Scheduling ...) ensure the receipt of documents, conduct and control manufacturing to provide products on time in full.
·
Ensure trained staff and appropriate means to ensure compliance of products delivered.
·
Ensure processes and procedures are known, understood, monitored and controlled.
·
In close collaboration with the Director of Quality, develop an improvement plan to reduce the level of non-quality.
Sell
·
Deliver products on time in full
·
Support fully the RFQ process.
Purchase
·
Manage the supply and receiving process for externally supplied parts.
·
Monitor the performance of suppliers in terms of Cost, Quality and Service Level
·
Manage the inventory levels for raw materials and purchased parts.
Design to Produce at Objective Cost
o Contribute to the early phases of development by providing expertise on all aspects including costs, manufacturability and controllability.
Job Requirements
·
Provide concurrent engineering support to External Suppliers for produced parts.
·
The design table of responsibility in respect of the costs of program objectives, quality, and service level are achieved.
·
Ensure manufacturability by internal or external achievement in the context of development, production and series parts.
·
Manage detailed design and industrialisation and modifications
Produce
·
Manufacture products consistent with the technical definition using the best production management resources and systems
·
Ensures operations are at Class A level in all aspects
·
Manage internal Inventory levels and costs
Support customers
·
Assure manufacturing and support for spare and service parts throughout the life of the product.
·
Support the treatment of technical facts (causal analysis and determination scenarios of technical solutions)
·
Investigate, design and produce replacement parts that will satisfy validated repair solutions.
Provide Information System Capabilities
·
Ensures the security and integrity of the data provided within the information systems
·
Drive projects to improve information systems
·
Economic and financial management.
·
Assure the targets set for the direct and indirect costs and the operating values for the UAP.
·
Manage the budget expenditures (investments, industrialisation, specific production costs, indirect costs & consumables)
Manage Human Resources
·
Implement the HR policy in coordination with the HR Department
·
Ensure vacancies are filled by qualified personnel and that on-boarding, training and skills development plans are in place.
·
Assure individual HR Management in all its forms (training, career development and employee relations issues)
·
Manage the union relations for the business unit.
·
Develop and manage Succession and Talent management plans.
·
Ensure the cascade of business and performance information relating to the UAP, Site, Group and Safran
·
Ensure adequate support and information is given in relation to changes in the form of staff training for new method and tool deployment.
·
Adhere to the budget for HR agreed through the MTP process and in conjunction with the HR Division
·
Ensure HSE Aspects
·
Identify risks and develop robust improvement plans.
·
Develop a Progress Plan for Health, Safety and Environmental considerations.
·
Assure the application of regulatory provisions.
