Job description
Description of the Project:
Create digital twin of workstation in Gears manufacturing line (i.e. Hermle milling, 2 machines workstation)
Substantive scope of the project:
·
Modeling the physical workstation (2 machines, tools, operator, layout)
·
Capturing operational parameters (machine cycle times, human cycle times, setup times, material flow)
·
Integration with simulation software (e.g. Witness)
·
Data acquisition from MES for real-time or historical data
·
Validation of the digital twin against actual performance

Scope of knowledge that the student will acquire during the internship:

Flow management principles
·
Time observation, cycle time, Takt time
·
Performance KPIs calculation: lead time, SWIP, Utilization
·
Manufacturing process flow simulation tools
Candidate skills & requirements
·
Knowledge of process management concepts
·
Konowledge of basic lean management practices
·
Knowledge of flow simulation software (i.e Witness)
·
Knowledge of change management principles
·
Good English language / Polish would be nice
