Job description
Lead all the engineering end to end (e2e) activities relative to the CIs allocated to him/her
Ensure delivery of allocated CIs for the different process steps on time, on quality and on cost
Manage primary and secondary flow for allocated CIs
Ensure ontime availability of subparts (e.g. 924/IP) for associated CIs
Create workprepas for associate CIs and launch workorders for suppliers
Daily drumbeat of provider against DRP planning
Launch release processes and secure signatures (AP1020)
Exchange daily with Airbus at the DRP the design progress, solve & escalate blocking points
Launch release processes and secure compiler/design checker signatures (ideally himself)
Perform quality root cause analyses together with suppliers
Support config teams on TRS investigations & validate technical content, launch necessary DMU concepts and fill PZadvisor during ESI conf2 and ESI conf3
Identify technical issues in the Digital Mock Up
Support the Engineering/Manufacturing on questions (IDCR/ICB handling)
Provide DQN/RDR solutions in SAP (T100) and follow them until acceptance
Deliver input for DRP planning
Report status of each design solution via correct usage of tools
Continuous Improvement of all allocated activities
Collaborate with suppliers for the different activities
Ensure Interface and close communication within the team, customer and suppliers
Candidate skills & requirements
Good knowledge of CATIA V5, DMU, VPM A350, PASS SSI, PDM Link SSCI, SAP, Zamiz, iMade, LabTrack, Office Tools, RIC, CIRCE, TRESTI, ADB, GEOSEARCH
General Functional knowledge: PD and WD
Knowledge of Aircraft Electrical Engineering ATA92 Procedures (SIDP/EIRD)
Signature Delegation AP1020 (preferably)
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems
Good knowledge of English language
Good experience of secondary structure (ESI/MSI) design,
Knowledge of folded and machined elementary parts
Knowledge of assembly / subassembly components
Good knowledge of the Airbus procedures
Weight calculation/process knowledge
Configuration Management Airbus Documents/Procedures
Knowledge of Manufacturing (Harness/Harness Installation)
