Job description

Builds aircraft 787 structures carbon fiber parts using resins and epoxies using engineering drawings,

company and customer specifications

▪ Accurately builds parts using resins and epoxies.

▪ Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, and work orders.

▪ Seals parts per manufacturing order or Static PWO as required per current revision.

▪ Properly maintains and identifies defects in parts and report any findings to supervisor or QA.

▪ Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.

▪ Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.

▪ Part Marks according to engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.

▪ Works toward the end of the assembly line.

▪ Organizes completed parts and paperwork.

▪ Creates shipping paperwork, “Shipper”.

▪ Submits Shipper to indicate part is ready for shipping and invoicing.

▪ Moves Shipper and part to Shipping Department.

▪ Assists Shipping Department as necessary to prepare packing of part.

Candidate skills & requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: 0-3 years

Computer Skills: Must be able to understand and use Microsoft Office products

Other Skills: Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders
