We are looking for a brilliant candidate who will join the Richemont group supporting purchasing activities for Pelletteria Richemont in Scandicci, across Brands and Shared functions. This role will focus on defining, optimizing, and implementing internal purchasing flows and processes (direct and indirect), leveraging the ERP system (SAP) and fostering constant communication with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. The goal is to ensure that workflows respect delivery time, cost, and product quality, while driving efficiency, stock reduction, and cost optimization through dedicated projects.
The Purchasing Project & Process Specialist will report directly to the CEO and he/she will be based in Scandicci.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You’ll support our team in:
Leading the analysis, definition, and implementation of new processes and workflows for direct and indirect internal purchasing activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and best practices
Identifying, proposing, and managing projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing stock levels, and optimizing costs across purchasing operations.
Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to ensure seamless integration of purchasing processes and provide transversal support to the organization.
Conducting in-depth reporting and analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization, develop savings plans, and evaluate supplier performance, translating insights into actionable projects.
Managing inventory strategies to achieve optimal stock targets and proactively addressing quality non-conformities through process improvements and project initiatives.
Managing master data in ERP (SAP) for costs, supplier order management, and inbound/outbound material flows, ensuring data integrity for process optimization and project analysis.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Degree in Economics/Engineering or similar field
3-5 years of experience in a purchasing role, with a proven track record in process improvement, project management, or strategic sourcing, preferably in the Luxury industry
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) will be considered a strong plus.
Good command of ERP system (SAP)
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, define priorities, and drive initiatives to successful completion.
Strong aptitude for teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.
Good knowledge of English (written/spoken)
