KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Complete the qualitative polishing of jewelry and maintain the polishing area and equipment
·  Responsible for completing a qualitative polishing, in-line with Van Cleef & Arpels quality standards, on all pieces transiting through the workshop, including but not limited to after-sales service/repairs and special projects
·  Manage workload to ensure the timely completion and delivery of all polishing work in-line with workshop and personal objectives, standard times and key performance indicators (KPIs)
·  Responsible for managing all polishing equipment and tools. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
·  Special projects as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Must possess knowledge in the field of jewellery  Polishing and repairs.
·  Two years’ experience polishing in a high-paced, high volume workshop environment strongly preferred
·  Ability to polish gold and platinum as well as rhodium-plating required, some experience with High Jewellery
·  Great inter-personal and communication skills
·  Ability to be flexible in order to respond to the quickly changing priorities of a high-volume jewellery workshop needed
·  Must be a team player and able to adhere to deadlines
·  Quick learner who is able to work with expedited service requests.
