Watchfinder & Co. is the ultimate destination for buying and selling pre-owned luxury watches. We’re on an exciting mission to accelerate our global presence and help even more customers to find their perfect timepiece.

 

We are on the search for an experience Brand & Design leader to join us on a 9 month FTC.

This is role is based within the Brand & Design team, reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer. Our broader Marketing department within which this team sits, consists of a core, multi-disciplined group of marketeers working closely with our marketing, media, content and PR teams, all of whom will be invaluable partners in shaping our success.

 

The Head of Brand & Design will have line management responsibility of a team of designers and copywriters.

Covering the maternity leave of our current Head of Brand & Design, this role will be responsible for solidifying Watchfinder’s brand as the premier pre-owned luxury watch destination in the world. You will bring deep knowledge of brand, creative and design with a track record of success driving business outcomes. You will lead and develop world-class brand and performance campaigns that support our brand and business goals.

 

Please note, this role is currently based at our Kent HQ and there is a requirement to be on site four days per week.

 

 

How will you make an impact?

·  Lead the Brand & Design team, overseeing the brand management and consistent implementation of global brand & tone of voice guidelines, standards, and creative execution.
·  Provide creative direction, expert advice, support, and challenge to align with overall brand strategy and global marketing strategies and plans.
·  Use brand and consumer insights to continue to strengthen our marketing programmes and storytelling for different audiences to enhance the effectiveness of marketing assets.
·  Own the planning and resourcing of the Brand & Design team to support demand from the business, including supporting large strategic projects and small tactical briefs.
·  Inspire the Brand & Design team (including external partners) to support marketing, onsite merchandising, retail merchandising, PR, recruitment, and social responsibility campaigns.
·  Play a hands-on role within the design team in delivering creative executions.
·  Support the PR & Content team with the development of bespoke assets as needed on a brief-by-brief basis.
·  Oversee the Watchfinder transcreation-localisation-translation process to deliver culturally relevant copy on all customer facing communications.
·  Proactively build and maintain excellent relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to deliver integrated, joined up and future-proofed approaches and solutions, ensuring effective project management and high-quality creative output.
·  Manage the Brand & Design budget to drive the best return on investment for the business working collaboratively with other budget holders, and finance colleagues, to complete monthly reconciliations.

 

 

How will you experience success with us?

·  Proven experience of brand creation and visual design (either in house or agency side).
·  A strong creative skill set and a firm grasp of developing brand strategy.
·  A strong understanding of brand management and conceptual creative assessment
·  Excellent leader and trusted advisor with extensive experience of stakeholder engagement, developing senior business relationships and shaping and influencing at a senior level.
·  Demonstrated ability to lead a creative team in a fast paced, team based, deadline-oriented environment.
·  Ability to establish, present and communicate a clear strategic direction which inspires ownership and accountability across the business.
·  A strong creative vision with the ability to foster and encourage a culture of creativity within your team.
·  Experience of delivering campaigns across multiple platforms (including digital, TV, retail) and a thorough understanding the process that is needed to make that happen.
·  Demonstrated ability to track performance of creative and monitor ROI with an understanding of how to leverage data, qualitative and quantitative research, to test ideas and get results quickly.

3rd Stage – Final Interview with the Chief Marketing Officer, that may include a case study in order to complete and present back in this stage.
