Job description

The goal of Watchfinder’s CRM team, where this role sits, is to maximise the potential of our customer base to support wider marketing and commercial objectives. The CRM team is an integral function of the broader Marketing department, which consists of a multi-disciplined group of marketeers including in-house creative, media, content and PR teams, all of whom collaborate closely together and will be invaluable partners in shaping our success.

The CRM Executive will support the team with day-to-day implementation of our email activity to ensure we deliver long term engagement with Watchfinder customers and meet short term sales and purchasing goals. This is a hands-on role, with the CRM Executive actively engaged in daily broadcast campaign delivery and updating automated customer comms.  This role reports into the Head of CRM.

 

Please note, this role is currently based at our Kent HQ and there is a requirement to be on site four days per week. 

 

 

How will you make an impact?

·  Support the Head of CRM with the build, testing, proofing, and sending of broadcast campaigns, such as daily emails.
·  Help to co-ordinate, build, maintain, analyse and frequently optimise customer journeys to drive engagement and repeat purchase.
·  Work with the Head of CRM to meet KPIs and support with ad hoc email marketing tasks.
·  Evaluate email activity each week, using CRM data and Google Analytics, to report on metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, sessions, transactions and enquiries.
·  Work collaboratively with the Head of CRM and other members of the marketing and merchandising team to identify suitable topics and product for email sends to specific audiences.
·  Assist with A/B testing, delivering the monthly test plan as agreed with the Head of CRM.
·  Manage email replies from customers by either unsubscribing or funnelling customer enquiries to the relevant department.
·  Proactively keep up to date with latest trends and competitor comms, providing analysis on what others are doing in the industry.

 

How will you experience success with us?

·  A proactive self-starter keen to learn, develop and forge a successful career in digital marketing.
·  Degree educated, or relevant marketing experience in either a professional or personal capacity.
·  A strong foundation and/or understanding of Email Marketing / CRM and be curious about using data insight to drive decision making.
·  Previous CRM experience, within an online or retail background is desirable but not essential.
·  Desire to master email marketing with a willingness to develop skills in other digital channels.
·  Knowledge of the different digital marketing channels and understanding of the role played by email in the digital channel mix.
·  Keen attention to detail.
·  Resilient, focused under pressure with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
·  Highly organised, hard-working, with a positive attitude
·  Confident – strong at presenting ideas and debating when required.
·  A team player who can also work independently.
