Peter Millar – Account Manager
(permanent, full-time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
This new role focuses on positioning, launching and managing the Menswear RTW collections into the UK and IE fashion markets.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for Peter Millar RTW brand launch and sell in
· Planning and implementation of the Peter Millar UK/IE distribution strategy and business development
· Create showroom sell in experiences and attend relevant trade shows
· Setting and achieving the budget along with Sales Director
· Opening new business and negotiating with Buyers
· Piloting on a monthly and weekly basis, sales budget once trading
· Controlling the monthly and weekly product assortment proposals/ replenishments
· Ensuring that optimal core range stock levels are maintained
Drive the Sell-out in store and online
· Ensure all buyers and shop floor staff have product knowledge and history of the Peter Millar brand to enable story telling with their clients
· Training in stores of the brand ambassadors and staff
· Proposing and implementing (along with Marketing Manager) plans to drive brand awareness with each account
· Monitoring retail sales on a weekly basis and ensure corrective actions are taken in order to achieve targets.
· Organizing, preparing, and animating quarterly sales meeting with key account clients
Grow and maintain the Peter Millar brand positioning
· Achieving the best brand visibility and ensure that Peter Millar is always well merchandised both in store and online within the corporate guidelines, both internally and externally at each retailer
· Ensure each peter Millar retailer has product assortments that are both commercial and represent the brand
Elaborate business analysis
· Submitting to the Sales Director a monthly activity report, including analysis of the business, proposals to further growth, market intelligence and competitive information
Others
· Work closely with production and planning on Product assortments and inventory
· Work with Customer Service and Operations to ensure best in class service
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
· You have experience in wholesale fashion sales, ideally luxury menswear
· You have digital native experience working with pure players
· You have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
· You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
· You show meticulous attention to detail and planning capability
· You showcase a can-do attitude, thrive in ambiguity and you are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· You are willing to occasionally travel, primarily within the UK and Europe
